My love for carousels started when my dad sat me down on my first pony when I was two (or so I can remember), while others liked riding giraffes, kangaroos and unicorns. But I made sure he sat there alongside because I was scared. But when the music started and it began to revolve, we both waved our hands out to mom and it is one of my happiest memories.
It is a perfect afternoon, the sun shines through the scattered clouds and a cool gust of wind splashes on my face. We decide to make the most of it and take a walk on the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, a must do for anyone visiting New York city.
I love that I get to experience NYC much more than my own city of Boston. And what’s best, my sister hosts me there and takes me to these amazing places that I thought I absolutely must share. Starting this series today called the New York diaries to include places, restaurants and some fun things to do. Not expecting this one to be touristy checklist, but more of some epic experiences in the Big Apple and pure love for the city.

AuthorMy name is Lovya. I left home when I was 17, to study and pursue my dream of being an Engineer, which I am now! But my love for travel never parted with me and even as I grow older, I know there are places and adventures in the world which I have to see. It feeds my soul in a unique way. This blog is a means for me to share my travel stories and hear about your experiences. Categories
