I love that I get to experience NYC much more than my own city of Boston. And what’s best, my sister hosts me there and takes me to these amazing places that I thought I absolutely must share. Starting this series today called the New York diaries to include places, restaurants and some fun things to do. Not expecting this one to be touristy checklist, but more of some epic experiences in the Big Apple and pure love for the city.

The city’s energy drives you, it let’s you walk, roam, bike, drive the crazy twisted roads and face the wind. As O’Henry said "East is East, and West is San Francisco". Your west coast spur is never complete without visiting here. Agreed that it’s no longer the sixties and nor the hippie culture that dominates this land, but there’s an eclectic energy that binds to your soul forever.
It’s LA, and the best way to visit is by soaking the sunshine on it’s beautiful golden beaches, getting the tan and a bite of the delicious cuisine. Life is perfect just there!
California Route 1 is one of the best scenic drives and by far, is one of my favorites. The drive itself has winding roads, almost always staying by the water with some sharp cliff edges sometimes, strong winds and the fun of driving amongst mist and clouds.
Boston is home now, one which I have grown to admire and love! The holidays are an exciting time here. Festivities around the Faneuil Hall and Quincy market, the lovely Italian neighborhood of North End, Chinatown and the swarm of Irish pubs all fill up with holiday tunes, lights and holiday cheer.

AuthorMy name is Lovya. I left home when I was 17, to study and pursue my dream of being an Engineer, which I am now! But my love for travel never parted with me and even as I grow older, I know there are places and adventures in the world which I have to see. It feeds my soul in a unique way. This blog is a means for me to share my travel stories and hear about your experiences. Categories
