Love
Tiptoes!
My love for carousels started when my dad sat me down on my first pony when I was two (or so I can remember), while others liked riding giraffes, kangaroos and unicorns. But I made sure he sat there alongside because I was scared. But when the music started and it began to revolve, we both waved our hands out to mom and it is one of my happiest memories. A new carousel recently opened at Battery Park and I couldn’t resist it. So we waited for sunset, because we had heard it looked divine when lit. And amongst the long line of children and their anxious parents, my sister and I looked in anticipation each time the carousel started. The pictures do more justice than words can. A wonderful evening spent in the lovely New York City, I have to say, the city never fails to disappoint.

AuthorMy name is Lovya. I left home when I was 17, to study and pursue my dream of being an Engineer, which I am now! But my love for travel never parted with me and even as I grow older, I know there are places and adventures in the world which I have to see. It feeds my soul in a unique way. This blog is a means for me to share my travel stories and hear about your experiences. Categories
